Guernsey 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Rimini Red

Picked up the TDV8, my replacement for the TDV6, today. Lovely engine and handling compared to my SE (non dynamic response) is improved.

Rejected the TDV6 for paint defects. My very critical eye has discovered one blemish in the paint work...some paint drip on the corner of the door. Maybe not a major issue....but should it happen?? Rob

Ireland 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Just back froma three day , close to 1000 mile trip in the TDV8 HSE

the average fuel ecomony is showing about 24.5 so the engine is freeing up and even at this I'm impressed and that is with a heavy right foot( This car just wants to go).

The engine just gets better and better, great sound , several people commented that it couldnt be a diesel. lovely V8 burble, etc

Being a big lad , the seats are killing me. Not as good as the FFRR. The top of teh seat curves in and the bolsters are giving me a pain in the back. This seems to be worse then the TDV6 ( different seat I wonder)

Tasmods, The new sills are lovely , they scrap V easily though, got some muck on then and wiped it off, scratched the sill Big Cry

The lack of auto couresty lights in the rear is just crasy. With teh ebony interior at night you cant see a thing, you know the score wifes looses makeup ( or some other piece of rubbish they all carry). Stop to find it , I now carry a torch for this as the lights are useless HELLO LR.

Bluetooth arrgh, The car/phone requires to starts to recognise my phone as the RR system only does discovery on power up of the radio. If it doesnt see the phone it never then sees it until the power re-powerup . v mad about this.

However all this pails into insignificant when you press the loud pedal!! ( cant wait to get it chipped). RRS HSE TDV8 Java black/Ebony interior, mud flaps,20" stormers, towing, roofrack, sunroof, cooler V8 Tasmods Sills, black badges, carstyling java black vents
Previously FFRR TD6 Metallic Grey

lucabia - You are a franchised dealer and you are saying that chipping your Land Rover does not affect the warranty?

If you could confirm? Confused TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.
