Fellas, have you now given up on the subject of watches and descended instead into the usual bun-fight? Rolling Eyes It's just that I'm poised to replace my reliable old Rolex Datejust that I've worn for the last 21 years with a Cartier Tank Americaine and have noticed just how much cheaper it is buying from the States. Must be the exchage rate, but the prices are 20% below those in the UK, including Blitz and Watchfinder! Yeah, there's shipping cost and duty to consider.., but it still saves you £000's. So, if you want a quality watch, look across the pond first! Wink

There you go, that's my sensible tip for the day! Ok boys, now back to the bun-fight!!! Thumbs Up

What I need is someone I know....trust who is going to the states who could buy a watch for me - bring it back ... ie wear it ..... so nothing to declare thus saving on taxes/duty etc etc Very Happy [ pretty please ] Wink

One of these ............ ½ price would be nice Bow down

... and the bun-fight begins! Laughing

MDP, try swissluxury.com, very accommodating? Also, I have an independent diamond retailer called John in the UK (07772 053260) who's tried really hard to match the yanks, but still beats the likes of blitz and watchfinder. Worth a call? Good luck! Cool

That looks nice. But for some reason I'm not a fan of square/rectangular watches, prefer them round/semi round.

Btw, I took the photos of both AP and Corum myself. What do you think guys.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Ive recently given up trying to find the a Steel Rolex Daytona and opted for Panarai Luminor Chrono

http://www.panerai.com

Didnt realise how popular they were until I saw the likes of Tiff & Plato wearing them. Something else is always something better:
