Well there I was leaving work at 4.30am this morning. Suspension light fault again. Tried all the tricks again and its on to stay. Suspension working at all heights. Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry
So drive home and call LR Assist.

Just been turfed out of bed. He pluggs in the lap top and communicates with the car (seems the dealer might be telling porkies after all TB).
No fault on the dynamic side. Fault on the suspension side say there's a fault on the dynamic module Confused

So the tech concludes theres nothing wrong with the car but that its probably a CANBUS problem in that it needs two signals from the suspension module and one is probably too slow in getting to the sensor thus triggering the warning light.

So he's going to tell the dealer that if there is a software update for the suspension that should resolve the problem.

Anyone know if such an update exists Question TDV6 - gone

United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Hi Josh
That does not sound right to me
The module fault may be the answer to the comunication fault because if the machine will not communicate it normally means one of the systems is holding the CAN line down that feeds the data stream into the diag tool. If the module was doing this at the time, then that is why it could not communicate and now it is reporting the fault it has logged from earlier in the cycle.
It may be a longer job to define the real problem.

Good Luck
Regards

Thanks Nigel.

He did wipe the memory clean before he left. I've driven since with no fault lights. Anyway the Dealer can have it for the 2 days on 12 March. But if it happens again before then, I'll get the mobile Tech out again. TDV6 - gone
