RESLAE? Envoy, have you never heard of reslae value? I use the same place that Santa trades-in his worn out vehicles? It's a technical term.., sorry if it confused you mate! And I bet you thought I'd misspelt "resale"? Tutt-tutt! |

Well guys, the TDv8 is in a completely different league, theres no way TDv6 is even on the same planet. You could tune the TDv6 to the clouds and it isnt near as good ( and equally you can tune the V. I've driven the stock V6 for 3 weeks and then straight into the TDv8, its lights years different. Give it a bit of right foot and suddenly a 3 ton car acts light a golf GTI, ( you know the quick unexpected undertaking manouver, etc)|.

Well I had the RR Vogue TDV8 on test drive all day yesterday and looks like I'm going to have to eat humble pie. What a superb engine It sounds the same as mine, so I wonder if JE helped LR out there. I thought mine was very quick................but compared to that its not. I wasn't overly impressed with the fuel economy as I spent £15 on fuel for the day. Averaged between 16 and 25 mpg (that was at 30mph!!). At 75-80 it was about 19/20 mpg. But that didn't surprise me. If I had one I would have to buy a Road Angel or lose my license. I really missed the dynamic handling of the Sport. Didn't feel I could throw it around too much.....but on the straight ..........AWESOM dosen't quantify the feeling you get when you floor it even without the sport mode. So I said to the dealer how much is my Sport worth and they said about £38K. You will all want to know if I'm making the jump..........not right now........but.......I may think about it again at the end of the year when I see what happens to my current contract at work. Even the wife liked it, so that's half the battle......the rest is the cost. TDV6 - gone TDV8 - gone Audi Q5 3.0 Tdi Sline wef 6/11/10 |
