Nope, the rear lights are manually operated, the only auto lights in the back are those in the base of the doors.

If you've got privacy glass and you open the rear doors at night it's terrible! L319 D4 HSE

I have no solution for the rear lights, but I am in the process of upgrading the map lights, the rear cabin lights, and the center stack light to white LED bulbs. I have done the same for the license plate lights too.

It gives the vehicle a whole new look.

Let me know what you think.

Difficult to show in a photo, I suppose... but do you have any before/after pics so the different light outputs can be seen? What led you to upgrade them? Very Happy

Invictus, would be very interested to know what brand, part number etc you used for the interior lights and how much better the result was? .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

TDV8 HSE MY10 with pretty much everything including a vase of daffs on the back shelf, tropical fish collection in the centre console, hamsters in the spare tyre and finally sheep on the passenger seats.....for weight distribution, what else??

I have asked the same question in the past, it has to be possible to wire into puddle lamps? or why not swop the wiring around so puddle lamps come on when switched and overhead lamps come on when door opens failing that LR have a nice LED torch in their accessory list!!!! MY10 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Zermatt Silver, 20" Diamond Turned Alloys, Factory Privacy Glass, Premium Leather, Contrast Stiching, Side Steps, Etc

I have purchased white 194 bulbs from vleds.com. I am using some of the brighter ones. With HID headlights, interior lights, and license lights, it makes for a nice uniform look.

I'd like to change the lights in the mirrors, but I can't get the covers off!
