New Bmw M3

I got a call from my Bmw dealer yesterday, asking if i was still serious about my M3 purchase, and i said yes course i am Ian are you joking?

My brother in law got a call yesterday saying the same thing from his Bmw dealer.
And his business partner got a call the day before that..

All from independant dealers from one another.

I quizzed my dealer (as we do a lot of work with him) and he is genuinely honest with us, and he personally thinks, there may be a surprise around the corner.
X5, 3 series sport model on coupe's/convertible launched March-Apri. 1 series/5 series facelifted now too..

M3 could be released as soon as June 2007 for first dealer rollout, but its all a guessing game, my money right now is still on spring 08, but im not planning on another stop gap between my 335d and the m3.. until this bit of info comes through as true/false... im holding fire.

The dealer says if the car is unveiled in their spring info, then it will go crazy for them, but still most deposits are specifying convertibles, which will more then likely be a year behind.. but interesting stuff, seems to be warming up on the M3 front..

I saw the C class pictures recently, and was talking to merc about another car, and he mentioned to be about the C63.. hmm.. now that could be interesting, and if Bmw take too long, could be taking my money elsewhere.. but it sounds like they may be giving it a hurry up! I HOPE SO!!

Yep - first M3 to have a V engine. Originally rated at 400bhp, but I reckon they'll need to squeeze it a bit nearer to 420 to have a go at the RS4.

I'd seriously look at an M5 Touring... but only if I could lessen my yearly mileage. I do nudging 30k a year, so makes the £/mile very high.
