Seeing as eBay don't exactly make this easy to do I thought it was worth putting up a note on how to do this.

On the item page for the fraudulent listing, scroll to the bottom and click the "Report this item" link:



On the page that appears, select "Fraudulent listings (....)":



Select "You suspect a listing is fraudulent (you didn't bid)":



Click the "Continue" button as instructed:



On the next page, click the oh-so-obvious "Email us" link to actually report the item:



Type something in the bottom box:



Click the "Send" button



You may now feel a warm glow inside until you realise eBay will probably just ignore your report  Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

That's great thanks Martin, I recently had the need to report a scam advert after seeing my own bike (1973 Honda CB500 Four) for sale 2 months after I bought it. the advert and pic were exeactly the same as the posting I bid on and eventually won.
I emailed the vendor and requested the pic be removed and the ad re=worded. Ad must have been removed as it disapeared. i did report it to eBay but not a straightforward process
