I notied looking through the forum that almost all builds complete on a Friday, now I know its the last day of the working week for most, but I thought most manufactures work shifts

I was in the same dilenma - I had a BMW dealer lined up to buy my 5 Series, however as the date kept slipping they started to moan a bit as they had a buyer for my car - I spoke to my dealer about this who offered to match the BWM offer to resolve the prob - got a cheque for the full amount on the day I collected the RRS - its worth asking your dealer if they can help you out

A similar thing happened to me when I chopped my RRS in. The BMW dealer supplying my current car had a buyer lined up for the RRS and wanted it sooner rather than later. The BMW dealer put me in one of their demos for 2 or 3 weeks while my new car was delivered and took the RRS off my hands immediately. Most dealers are flexible about this kind of thing when they know they already have the sale secured.

in defence of LandRover and my RRS, I've not had a problem yet - no warnings or noises - and yes, it was built on a Friday

To be fair as Kaine said, i to have had very few problems, more niggles than anything :thumbsup:Mine was built on a Thursday though  some of my Previous cars

Mine must have of been built last thing on a Friday afternoon then AFTER the pub!!! It's back at Stealer's again as we speak, awaiting call to collect. And it's still got the intermittent repetitive "Transmission Fault Traction Reduced" which nobody knows what to do about??? What did I do wrong in a previous life!

I don't think its your previous life that is the problem  some of my Previous cars
