2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

TDV8 HST

Hi
I ordered a TDV8 HST in September. I have been in no hurry for it as had my TDv6 HSE since April and wanted to enjoy this car. I was apparently the 3rd on the list at Stratstone Newcastle for the TDv8 HST. When i phoned yesterday i was told that the HST was delayed indefinately and if i ordered an HSE now i would get it in July. The point i made that i ordered a tdv8 in September and should get the car sooner. Also does anyone know if the HST spec has been cancelled or am i just getting Sales Waffle?

If LR know what's good for them they should cancel it. But in reality, I think it is still available - although as a factory-fitted kit rather than a "base" car.

I was told by my dealer the other day that the HST kits are now being fitted by the dealers and not at the factory. He showed me a standard Supercharged that was awaiting the conversion.

The dealers just wait for the kit to arrive..... L319 D4 HSE

I have heard that there is a problem with supply of the HST - no idea why. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Ok, I suggest you consider a change of dealer. Lloyds Landrover in Carlisle are real people, who love the product, deliver on their promises (or tell you when they can't due to LR cock-ups) and find solutions rather than problems. They also come to my home or office in Newcastle to collect my car for service and drop off a like for like Landrover vehicle and charge nothing exra for that convenience. Why not give them a call ? 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

So I'm told...................

The TDV8 HST is now quite unlikely to happen due to supply issues with 'Stormer' bodykit which is standard on the HST varients. Dealers are now fitting the kits themselves due to the kits being delayed, and there is a backlog for SC HST. So far dealers have not been able to order TDV8 HST models so an HSE would be closest.

HST SC gets a bit of a hammering on this forum, but I'm advised that dealers can't get enough of them. So, I'd advise securing an HSE TDV8 quickly! TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HST Java Black

I'm getting my HST bodywork retrofitted to my SC in a couple of weeks.

There's certainly an issue with it as it's taken my dealer about 3 weeks to tell me when they could do it.

Personally I would have gone for the Overfinch kit - quality and knowing what & when fitting would take place.
