There is a diag mode, but it's "read only" and there is no bypass. Search for more comments... I'm pretty sure it's been covered multiple times. Sorry. So, you are stuck with stored addresses or POIs. |

1) Turn the key to position II and acknowledge the Navigation "lawyer disclaimer" by pressing "AGREE"

Uh, what holy grail? It's pretty boring. No "options." Just a few test features... Manual check, Self Check, Info, etc. |

So by going into diagnostic mode and changing settings, is there a way to change nav while driving? |

I think the diagnostic display is purely read-only - you cannot make changes in there.

OK I'm back on Nav screen - you just have to leave it a bit. When in the passworded section it gives all sorts of info but I couldn't see where to change any settings so that the satnav buttons will work whilst driving. Looks like read only as previous posters said. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten 2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.
