Thanks for the tip, will def upgrade to the full day, and poss even let the Missus come along (she did an AMG day with me at MIRA (Hinckley) a couple of years ago, so she "can do skids now". Oh dear! Will they let her do donuts in an S/C?!

Hi Chappylad,

We bought our S/C from Stratstones in Aylesbury a few weeks ago (my fifth RR from them under their various names over the last few years), and so far so good.
Similar prob to Keith with a warning symbol coming up, but disappearing on re-start.
Apart from that, brill car. Just had the headrest screens and 2 DVD players fitted by Edgeworthy's of Aylesbury, and the runner boards/mudflaps which we saw on an S/C at MPH 05 at Earls Court which finished the car off nicely. looking forward to the free half day play on the offroad course near Newton Longville (Milton Keynes).
Good luck with the new car.

David

David,

I am just wondering if you have managed to get some freebies such as rubber mats and full tank of petrol when you collected the vehicle from Stratstone? I am buying my RRS from there and hopefully get the new car on Friday!

I went into Stratstones...they were giving NOTHING away (not even a half decent trade in figure on my 535d Sport Touring!)

The salesman was about as useful as a chocolate teapot too.

I'll be using them for all my servicing work though, and they did look after me when I was having probs with my Vogue last year....so I'd best shut up! 10 Lamborghini LP560-4 Spyder

10 Audi Q5 2.0Tdi DSG S-Line
No 1 on the list for an Evoque (for wife obviously!)

VA, I am off to Ashford to do mine in January (hoping for some snow/mud/generally useful conditions). I've only ever been to Eastnor Castle before - what did you think of the venue?

So shmoogle did you have the cold meat starter? How was the LRE 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

shmoogle - I think you will be doing your LRE with someone else as there are no offers on the LRE Ashford website for the 14th which means they're fully booked. Sorry about the bad news but have a great day! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Yes, I am one of the people who have made it fully booked! I have sole occupancy for me and the wife. I will sit in the back whilst she screams out of the window because she's going over a blind crest and then while I'm driving, she'll be screaming at me not to go so fast (whilst crawling through gullies at 5mph). I don't really know why I bother to take her to these sort of things, but she did ask nicely... If I haven't killed her and ended up at her majesty's pleasure over the weekend, I'll report back on Monday! Wink

What is the additional cost of upgrading the day to sole occupancy for a whole day instead of the free half day for the wife and I then? L319 D4 HSE

£75 per upgrade, so once to include the wife and twice for the day for both of us = £225 in total.

Oh, you don't - believe me. Did you ever see the first series of Catherine Tate's show? There's a character on there that screams randomly and constantly at anything (i.e. the flashing of the Xmas tree lights etc). My wife is a bit like that. Rolling Eyes
