...and mentions it still sounds like a diesel from the outside, which I thought was meant to be less so on the TDV8?

I thought all the 2007's had the electric latch on the hatch? I realise it won't lower the hatch but generally - on mine, if I don't push it down from teh outside, but instead pull it down from the inside, it lamely rests against the latch where I would expect the electric latch to kick in and pull it shut... 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge |

I noted that - maybe it's an early press RRS without the full equipment. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Or maybe he simply didn't notice it... if you remember from (Kaine's?) video, it was quite subtle

dont have to push mine down for the mechanism to close it - once it rests closed, the auto mechanism closes it up

VA, don't tell me you read The Sunday Express for Gawd's sake .... Nat Barnes, their "Motoring Editor" and author of that article shows exactly the same level of knowledge, accuracy, value, originality and rank banality that the rest of that paper achieves week in week out. I suggest they should stick to road testing Nissan Sunny's.
