I there is a recall on BMW's applicable to all models so that would never do!

And I do find myself able to get to the front of queues much more easily now... Wink

Not the CAN

I had the exact same problem -- never really killed the car, but lots of very dire warnings just like the one you show.

Took it to dealer (got a nice LR3 loaner) and they traced it (took a whole day) to the vehicle height sensors. They replaced these (had to order them, got 'em overnight) and that fixed the problem.

Not a single suspension warning of any type! I used to get 3 or so per half-hour trip before that.

And the fault was....

A leaking pipe on the Dynamic Response - not the can-bus system!

Pipe in tomorrow! Smile

Oh no.....just what I'd dread happening. Hopefully its just a loose connection or something - quality workmanship from LR - you have to wonder if they test drove it after repairing it !?!

Good luck !

They drove the car 3.8 miles - I reset the counter when it left!

Looking back I flew around a large sweeping bend at 80-90 mph and 1 min later the fault light came on so the pipe was not fitted 100% at a guess!

If I saw and LR agent driving my car like that I would go spare so what can you do!

When I stopped I could smell hydraulic fluid!

The assist guy said that there was H/F and that the dynamic response fluid was very low so it seems the pipe has "come off"

Will report back when I know more!

Shaguar S type on the way the guy from the rental company said "its even got touch screen nav"...
