United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Java Black

My wife and I had our first child just two months after buying our Rover (the Honda Civic just was not going to fly). Since our child was born, we never have really taken it on any long distance trips (under 12k since 07/05).

We just took it to Las Vegas in early December 06' and I must say, what a ride:

Seats are very good on the body.
I think the Rover actually performs better at high speed. What a rush.
Tracks the road well.
Tunes are great especially with Satelite.
Feels like your flying a jet.
Lots of rubber necking by others as you pass them.
Had a number of problems early on with the ownership, but now things are good (not thinking about this stuff as I am hauling *** to Vegas).
I like the reflection off of the gloss black hood (wax on, wax off).
Can't wait to hit the snow in the mountains soon (T-Minus 4-weeks).
It's all good now !

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

I have to agree with all of the above.

I drove all the way down to Spain and back for my summer hols, over 2,500 miles in total and it never missed a beat. And i got a few jealous glances from the X5 and Toureg brigade.

Oh, the permagrin is still fixed in place too. Very Happy Very Happy Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

what i like best is that it runs well and has lots of road presence..still rare enough to get the looks...not so the X5 brigade.

Thanks Zilch, yeh it's had major surgery on the driveline and most of it has been replaced starting at the torque convertor. I hope to get it back this Tue and vibration free with a bit of luck.

By all means mate, I will PM you my contact details. RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

United States 2007 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Stornoway Grey

The sound system with Sat. radio are off the hook. Never want to stop driving it!

Even in Los Angeles where you see EVERYTHING in terms of vehicles, the Sport is distinctive and gets props (got complimented by a Jeep driver and his lady yesterday at a red light).

The adjustible suspension! I like to drop it for cruzin purposes. Wish I could raise the speed threshold to 30 mph before it raises up on me, though.

The whole package. I almost went for the LR3 on launch, but then the Stormer concept appeared and I decided to wait and see what was coming down the pipe from Land Rover... Patience paid off in the form of an '007 RRS HSE in Stornoway.
