Rememeber what he said about the Toyota Corrolla in the early 90's.. went on to become the worlds top selling model/car ever! hehe..

Nah, the design is definitely a little odd, i personally love the rear quarter profile, but the front on view is a little weird.. excellent to drive fast and harrass other drivers with though.. the torque and acceleration is quite devastating..

I'm too with Clarkson. His opinion does reflect what ever is controversial at the time, and often changes faster than a sequential gearbox, but here I'm in total agreement.

I'd never touch a BMW. The artist and the dog turd is spot on.

I can't believe how lucky you US residents are.
Basically talking to my cousin in Houston and she mentioned prices of New X5 and 335i Coupe, which led me to have a nose on the USA Bmw builder software, basically nearly my spec car for: $50,045 and here it costs 42k in GBP new. Hmm.. plus you get a 4 year warranty and service/maintenance package. Hate how much we get ripped off here!! I know its relative to income etc, but i get really miffed when i see costs like this..

Well I for one love that new 3 series... the looks are an acquired taste (one that I happen to like) but I do wish the world would stop hanging on the Clarkson's every word. I like the guy and think he's entertaining, but it's not like he's the God of Cars or anything...

The only BM i know of the he's ever liked was the M3 CSL then in the end i think he slagged it of RRS TDV6 Gone but still around
