There are still many fans of the F1 out in the USofA. Friend of mine over there bought one of the first 2.5V6's to land in the States and ran it for nearly 170000 miles before he started to get problems. His big problem wasn't the dealer or the service they supplied but LR North America who refused point blank to honour his 3 years unlimited warranty that they offered as an inducement to people to buy (where have we heard this sort of thing before......) the smallest Landy. The problem this guy suffered was cylinder head gaskett failure which LRNA claimed was fair wear and tear.......... now he drives a Toyota pickup!
