United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Java Black

Manufactured: 05/05, HSE V8/GAS (listed are all problems since my purchase in 07/05: (more than five, sorry). All known dealer upgrades/recalls have been completed. Please let me know if I'm missing something.

Steering wheel not lined up with column (dealer said not so)

Front end shimmy (balancing took care of the problem)

Rear interior lights not connected at factory (dealer connected them)

I am on my third compressor and havent even taken it off-road (first compressor failed, second one was very loud and failed. The third compressor is good)

Ash tray will not remain closed (dealer said that wires were in the way of the tray assembly but still have the problem)

Brakes squeal constantly.

Rear panels behind the back seats don't fit properly and make cracking sounds while driving.

Rover is very heavy. This is noticed while driving the vehicle you experience a lot of side to side movement.

Front drivers side window was almost falling off the guide tracks and very erractic. (dealer fixed)

Rover leaked about one quart of oil overnight in my garage (dealer fixed and said bad seal at the oil filter). Currently the Rover has 11,550 miles on it.

Logic sounds horrible in my opinion. I listen to the radio with the Logic OFF.

DVD system is diffucult to operate.

While rolling slowley at around 5 mph or so..... if you get on gas the tranny hits the gear very hard. (dealer said it is a problem and they are currently working on a solution).

When closing any door, you here a piece of metal rattle under the car. (have not had the dealer look at this yet).

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

Was checking back on the Subaru forum, and someone asked about the Range Rover, and i suggested he checks here for some open advice and opinion.

At the end of the day, we all have niggles with it, but does anyone really think it is unreliable, i do not (it broke down on the wife Wink ).. Some regular a-hole poster on there states it is, not challenged him yet in case he has got some data in terms of reliability ??, but he basically slags everything off that is not German built..

If you want to contribute to the forum topic, and give the guys a good slagging off its on http://bbs.scoobynet.com/other-marques-33/...sport.html I am just about to wade in Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

I would not say they are "unreliable" just like any other marque they have problems now and again but I don't think anybody here would say they have an unreliable car as such 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Sounds like a few of the posters on that thread could well live up to the immature, "Burberry" baseball cap, dangly ear-ring wearing stereotype of most Imprezza Turbo owners! I drove one a couple of years ago and it had about the crappiest interior of any car I have ever driven, all shiney leather-look plastics, sh*te seat fabrics and about the rock hardest suspension I have ever experienced this side of a Defender.

Don't know if I should also mention it but most of the Scoobies round here belong to little old ladies with blue rinses ........................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
