Don't get too excited chaps........Webasto have been sending out that very same response for months Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation now. It may be coming but I doubt its imminent, but it would be nice.

Perhaps Envoy could make some enquiries through the trade entrance to verify the report Question TDV6 - gone

I have just had a lengthy chat with Webasto about the diesel heater timer
It has been in devopment in Germany for a while and Webasto have managed to get two units, but Germany have just withdrawn them from sale as there is a fault code comming up when plugged in to the diagonstis, although there isnt actually a fault there. As soon as it has been sorted then Webasto will let me have a complete unit including english fitting instructions so that we can fit it and judge how easy it is and how long it takes to fit. The cost is going to be about £400 plus vat plus fitting, which they think will be about two hours.
I have mentioned buying a quantity and they are more than happy to supply as we are agents, so this will offcourse bring the price down. they should be available early in the new year.

If you want me to buy a quantity of these and handle the payments and postage i will.
What i need is some idea of who will want this kit, before the new year would be good. some of my Previous cars

I've had a reply from Mr Rod Gascoyne Exclamation

As I thought another red herring. He said the timer is suffering from "Phantom fault codes" and has been withdrawn. They are working on it and will update when they have sorted it.

That's what I thought. Perhaps winter 2008 Question TDV6 - gone
