You have to say .................... " If money were no object " here Confused

The Supercharged is awsome - its sounds great - goes like hell & puts the SPORT in the RRS.

But ..... if you do 80,000 miles a year ............ Yeah , then maybe you should by a diesel version. Wink

Interestingly though [ I say this with a smile on my face ] ......... I look forward to seeing what JE Engineering and others will eventually do with the TDV8...... could then well be the engine of choice Confused

Even a TDv6 with Misery's exhaust note would do! I'm not worried about the speed, you would scare the living daylights out of the little boys with their Maxpower Saxo's with that note! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

The TDV8 is much nicer to drive offroad, but in the FFRR doesn't have the SC noise, not sure how much better it is the RRS

I know how quick it is and I have heard the glorious exhaust note - he did a burn up in the street outside Earls Court when Jay, Kam and I met up with him for MPH06. he must have burned about 5 gallons of go juice just to get 1/4 mile down the street to give us a demo! I will never buy a diesel...
It's just not a proper car for petrolheads
I hate sound of diesel (sounds like a bus, not a sportcar), i hate the black smoke of diesel when it's accelerating etc... it's just not right for a true premium car. IMHO Embarassed 2014 Mercedes-Benz S500
