Come on lets face it..
the more this government squeezes us and makes life more expensive, the more that will leave.

Just came back from Pakistan. For the wage bill of two of our mature experienced guys over here, we could actually realistically employ 15+ MBA Graduates with the drive and willingness to work their arses off, have two armed gun men at the door and two guys running round making tea for everyone, and even a valet parker/car cleaner who also save parking places for us, have seen this for myself, and it is tempting to say the least. Even property in comparison is dirt cheap and the growth possibilities of prices are much more attractive as the dead fish that the housing market here has become.

Our friend is running this kind of setup in practive, and is even running a merc E500 as his daily commuting car, and guess what Robin, it only costs 50p a litre there, and everyone burns fuel like there is no tommorow. There are little traffic enforcement officers/rules so he averages about 12mpg.. so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
So you think we are bad, try looking to the US or other countries where they consume more oil then water!

In this country, everyone is a someone and unfortunately things don't get done to the speed and efficiency as compared to abroad, third world my ass, this is a red tape world and with plonkers like robin having nothing better to do then come online and preach his bull Censored no wonder this country and society seems to be in decline.

Yeah....just gets a bit embarrassing sometimes when conversation with 10yr old son goes something like:

"what are you doing at school at the moment?"

"We're learning about the rainforest & how millions of acres are being chopped down every year and all the creatures are becoming extinct. What are you doing at work at the moment?"

"Oh we're chopping down the rainforest, to build a gas plant. All the fruit bats fall out of the trees & the locals hit them with big sticks & take them home for tea"

I jest not we had a conversation like this. HSE TD6 (Java Black/Ivory)

Hong Kong 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

I have a question for Robin: Why just target 4x4s? What about supercars? My 355 does about 8mpg here in HK. So do the other 1500 that are here, let alone the 3000 porsches. Then there's the Bentley's, Rollers, 5 and 6 litre mercs. But, and this is the kicker, that's all nothing compared to container ships and aircraft. So, is Kenny gonna stop planes flying over London? BTW, I think you'll find that the diesel trains used in England use more fuel per passenger than almost every car on the planet.

4x4s are very big, yes. Completely useless on the road, yes. But, you live in a democracy and you have a choice. Just as you have a choice NOT to own one, others have a choice TO own one.

Now to the funniest part of all. The majority of owners probably have very well paid jobs, so they can afford the incerase in taxes etc. BUT, if they'er paying more taxes, they'll hire less staff and spend less money on other stuff. This in turn means people like you will be made redundant because you have a job that pays next to nothing. Of course, once you're redundant you'll be claiming housing and benefits which of course are coming from the very people you're attacking. Funny eh? We actually keep you in a job to feed your family.

Finally, all this Censored will go away once you get rid of that Censored ass labour govt and replace it with free thinking facists.

Very Happy

Robin, Thanks so much for coming onto this forum and providing us with so much entertainment and amusement over the past couple of months.

You know what you can do with that Tshirt don't you? and i presume you have enough intelligence, so that you can work that much out.

Basically, going after end consumers like us is firstly not a very effective approach and just tends to get people wound up, and secondly makes F*** all difference in the whole scheme of things. Oil companies and petrol manufacturers won't allow us to shift onto sustainable energy sources until a system is in place so that it will have as high of a barrier of entry and proprietory protection as they have over oil supplies stopping other competitiors getting in. Lets face it, they are the ones who rule the world and push governments like puppets. Have you ever stepped foot onto foreign soil to places like UAE/Saudia etc, OIL and MONEY talks over there, nothing else.. Until another measure of wealth and measurements of markets can be derived, oil is the only way forward. It may be ruining the earth, but taking off the road the 4x4's in the UK will do what exactly?

The moment we get further nationalised congestion charges and further penalties for driving big cars is the moment we personally move our business abroad and make redundant all our staff. Over time more and more companies are seeing the sense of doing this and are jumping ship, this will cause a knock on in society which will make the UK an even less desirable place to live and do business, and when everything has been relocated to Dubai/India/China, then we will see which chav/kev in england on benefits (who will all that will be left) will give a flying **ck about ur stupid poncy arguments.

Like i said, get a life, get a job, get a new hobby, have u ever tried golf?

Come on, tell us, why do you really hate 4x4's so much?
By the way, when i really put my foot down, i only get 15mpg, how does that make you feel??

Kam, shall I put you down for a small, medium or large then?
