England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Nara Bronze
RRS and towing(not a caravan)

Just got back from a 450 mile round trip to pick up another car, as it was not taxed or insured i needed to tow it back on a trailer, from South Wales to Staffs.
Overall the sport towed perfectly and even gave an overall of 26mpg which didn't seem bad considering it was pulling 1.8 tons. 2014 Nara Bronze SDV6

Good news on the mpg

Do you have adjustable tow bar or removable.

What size wheels are on the trailer

Was the tow bar at correct height for trailer or did you do any mods MY10 TDV6 HSE, Alaska White, Ebony with Contrast, Park Heat, Paddle Shift, Privacy, Heated Steering Wheel, Extended & Premium Leather,

I have removable towbar, it was a twin axle trailer(not mine) probably had 14 inch wheels and seemed to tow at correct height.

I have also towed a twin axle caravan in the summer with no problems. 2014 Nara Bronze SDV6

Good to know

On my last car regulary towed twin axle trailer but found the none adjustable tow bar too high.

RRS non adjustable is hopefully a little lower - will soon find out MY10 TDV6 HSE, Alaska White, Ebony with Contrast, Park Heat, Paddle Shift, Privacy, Heated Steering Wheel, Extended & Premium Leather,

I have the adjustable towbar, the fixed was a bit too low for our horse trailer.

Had a removable towbar on our P38 and never once removed it, and use it 2 0r 3 times a week in summer so I dont mind it always been there.

Quite happily tows trailer at any speed, just have to be careful to remember when I have the horses loaded! Shocked
