Sadly, it's more D3 than Range Rover.

Having owned the FFRR, D3 and RRS I'd say that its a drivers range rover where as the FFRR is not.

Mechanically, the RRS shares a lot of parts with the D3 and as far as I'm aware, absolutely none with the FFRR. You see less RRSs in caravan parks too

Both look pretty much the same in the dark, which is all we seem to have at this time of the year.

its a Range Rover because LandRover say it is - its the same as saying the AUDI A3 is basically a VW Golf - we know that underneath the skin it is, however its still an AUDI |

RRS and Disco3 are built from the same platform, however they are certainly very different technically from chassis up. |

Just you wait, they may rename the new Freelander / LR2 "Range Rover Sport Light" or something:

Or is the FFRR really a RRS, it seems to have nicked terrain response, the sat nav system, the hand brake (although these appeared in the D3 first) Brembo brakes from the RRSSC. What the FFRR does that no other does is the luxury feel, knocks D3 and RRS and FL2 into a cocked hat |
