I just received a brochure from Jeep in today's post, which contained a report about the real green credentials of so called green cars.
The research was undertaken by CNW a US based market research company and measured the actual energy used during the entire lifecycle of a car from "dust to dust".
Surprisingly, the Jeep Wrangler can out No.1
More surprisingly, the current crop of green hybrid cars did extremely badly. In fact, the RRS (in the top 50%) was 26 places ahead of the Toyota Prius .

Interesting and nice to see some actual data. Didn't expect to see the Phaeton down there between the Phantom and Maybach.
