£35k for a V8 HSE with only 2000 miles......................... and a heap of G4 extras, they don't seem to be holding their value very well so far then! I careful owner, 100's of careless drivers on the G4 Challenge! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

VA, just keep telling yourself that with the extra drag of that roofrack and all the extra weight of the G4 kit that lovely V8 engine would struggle to get the fuel consumption into double figures....................... and would struggle to get into multistorey carparks even on lowered suspension (which I know isn't a problem for you with Mrs VA being so keen to park on double yellow lines while you do your shopping ) But £37k is pretty good for such a low milage V8.... which makes me wonder what the dealers paid for them in the closed auction - probably quite a lot less than £37k that's for sure! BUT somebody somewhere is going to get their fingers evry badly burned with the values.

Eek... somehow it doesn't look right on the road. Get some SC grills and vents for it though and you'd be away!

Why is it that the FFRR and the RRS G4 roofracks look so ungainly and WRONG, the D3, Def and Freelander1 look good with their G4 racks on the top, and you cannot remove the FFRR or RRS G4 racks, they are there for good unless you take a gas-axe to the roof according to the local dealer.................. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim are you sure the roof rack can't be removed - from what I've seen re the fitting instructions you can remove it although it's a 2 person job! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
