Band G emissions cover pretty much anything above a 2.0 petrol car or 2.5 diesel ,with autos making things significantly worse. 4x4's are only approx 15% of this segment, but the press are still blaming them.

So to try and get the list right its something like this -

Tax on fuel
Road Fund tax
Car purchase VAT
CO2 emission tax
Hybrid TV licence tax
Congestion charge tax
Toll motorways tax
Speed camera tax
Parking fine tax
Pay and display outside your own house tax !

And now pay per mile tax

Have I missed anything out

Might as well drive off the edge of a cliff but theres probably a tax involved..

You missed out the CO2 tax being imposed by LR and also the tax imposed by the EU for recycling what is left of your car after you haven't been able to afford to drive it for years because of all the other taxes!


Oh and I missed out the TV License you have to buy if you opt for the Hybrid TV in your car too! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Talking of window tax, dont forget the uplift in your council tax depending on your view from your window, which was muted by the council about six months ago.
