New X5

What do you think of the new X5 Diesel? top speed 134 mph and a version of Dynamic Response I personally could not buy one because they are extremely popular where I live whereas the RRS are not.Where I live people see the BMW badge and go mad 6 of my friends have X5's. RRS TDV6 HSE BUCKINGHAM BLUE BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR RHODIUM TASMOD SILLS PARROT 3000 EVOLUTION WHITE SIDE REPEATERS RRPORT.CO.UK BROLLY & STICKER

Yeah, X5 is popular... and it is for a reason - it's simply overall better then others. That's not BMW badge... That's BMW quality and driving pleasure. I do like the looks of new X5 (specially with new official M-aerodynamic kit), I like the interior (needless to say that compared to the interior of RRS (even fully loaded S/C) it is Rolls-Roys (X5) and Ford Transit (RRS) )... I'm waiting for the new 5.0iS version (2008) with the new V8 engine that is supposed to have 420-450bhp (without those dubious turbos and superchargers) - Yeah it would cost almost twice as RRS S/C but still it would 4-times better and I would defenetely change my RRS for that. 2014 Mercedes-Benz S500

Jay don't do it I must admit I do like Bm's what I don't like are the cost of the extras and the fact that they are plentiful round my way the X5 was my first choice when I decided to change car but when I saw a RRS in the flesh I had to have it. RRS TDV6 HSE BUCKINGHAM BLUE BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR RHODIUM TASMOD SILLS PARROT 3000 EVOLUTION WHITE SIDE REPEATERS RRPORT.CO.UK BROLLY & STICKER

4.8 is now a "base" engine (like 4.4 with e53 X5), 5.0 would be an iS version.

Sorry about this but I thought we were all Land Rover fans on this site what is this talk about BMW and more importantly getting rid of the RRS for an X5 are you serious. Shocked Shocked

The X5 is nothing but an over sized estate car has no off road capabilities at all, our RRS can go any where any time, I need a decent 4X4 to cope with the conditions where I live, there is no way a footballers car could cope. Very Happy Very Happy

Now if you were talking about the Mercedes G55 that is a proper off roader and is even more attractive than the RRS. I will say here and now that both my RR's would go if a 55 came along and I could afford it. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
