A shooting friend of my Dad's who has a Sport has complained of this. I can't say that this has been a problem for me, perhaps the mud flaps have prevented this... L319 D4 HSE

My RRS has got f/f running boards and mudflaps, and it makes no difference you still get loads of Censored inside the doors, and if you dont get the mud off the running boards on regular basis you can hardly open the doors.
As for Landlord knowing about mud, the only mud he ever see's is when his wife's wrestling. some of my Previous cars

Looks like a bit of a RRS design flaw. My D3 never gets mud in there even after offroading!

Mud flaps and the side steps must prevent this, as I don't have that problem. I commute daily on country roads/lanes. TDV6 - gone

Josh the mud down in oxfordshire must be of a different constituancy to the mud in Staffs/Shrops as i have to drive to work down single track lanes and the mud gets right inside the front doors aswell as the rear doors, and mines got both flaps and boards. Either that or mines got a fault. some of my Previous cars

I expect a little ingress, but its no where near as bad as these pictures. As long as its below sill level thats ok. But the mud flaps and steps definately keep most of it out.

I've not had to wash inside there yet. Usually just give it a wipe down with the leather to dry any water. TDV6 - gone

Josh,

We have special mud in Shropshire - so it seems Sad

I'm getting some mud flaps anyway - at least it will stop the mud covering the door handles a little
