YY I doubt it. I think you are the first to complain about this so I doubt it's normal. Just point your dealer to this forum and ask why no one of our 800 members have complained to date (Except you) 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Well the service guy was telling me that since I have high performance brakes that unfortunately the downside is that they make the squeaking noise. Basically he said all supercharged models have brakes that will make this noise.. and the noise is a normal part of the product.

Got more info from the service manager on this brake squeaking problem.. the brembo brakes create a lot of dust that will call cause this noise.. if the car is driven over motorways and heat builds up then the dust is no longer a problem.

You need to speak to Land Rover Customer Support on this. I still can't believe the attitude of your Dealership.

Thanks guys. Dealer has fixed the problem without charging me for the deglazing again, but it was clear that should the problem recur (which they told me it probably would after 200 miles) i would be looking at paying about 1 hour's labour each time. It just wasn't clear from the dealer why LR considers this problem not to fall under warranty after 1 year.
