LRUK call today

Had a pleasant suprise today - had a courtesy call from LRUK regarding my recent RRS purchase.

Seemed like the normal independant post sales centre customer satisfaction call to begin with, however I quickly realised it was not just a call centre, but someone who works for LRUK.

He was interested to hear about my dealer experience (pros/cons), plus my first impressions of the car - did I have any issues with quality or paint finish (to which I explained the dozen or so small paint defects, however nothing that I am dissatisfied with). All these issues would be passed on to the relevant departments etc to which I felt was genuine intent. He also asked me whether I had received the LR welcome pack through the post - which I haven't, so he was going to chase this up for me.

Now I know this may sound all commonplace to many, however after my poor VW experiences over the last 2 years (one example - VW would continually contact me by phone and post asking me if I was happy with my Touran to which I had to explain I had actually purchased a Touareg from them and they need to update their records Evil or Very Mad - which they never did btw) makes todays call a pleasant suprise

top marks LR Thumbs Up
