2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
RRSport wins Scottish Motoring Writers Award

Quote
The Range Rover Sport has another award to add to its collection, after it was crowned Scottish SUV of the Year 2005 by the ASMW.
Ally Ballinghall, President of the ASMW said "Our pick of the new SUVs to be launched in the last 12 months has proven all-terrain pedigree. However, the Range Rover Sport doubles as a sophisticated road car thanks to excellent driving dynamics that are complimented by a range of deliciously smooth Jaguar-derived power units. We loved this wonderfully talented and exceptionally luxurious British built vehicle."
The award was received by the Range Rover Sport's designer, Richard Wolley, who commented "Scotland is a very important market to Land Rover, with a very loyal customer base, especially for our more traditional models. Scottish slaes of the Range Rover Sport are already beginning to reflect its award winning status. Since going on sale in May 2005 the Sport has won a number of awards, this being the seventh. September was a record breaking sales month, with 1500 Sports sold, and the Supercharged derivative's waiting list has grown to March 2006

And how many of them have you seen? Like me probably very few! I think that LR must have a secret option they haven't told every about - Stealth, rather like the special system that James Bond had on his DB9 in one of the recent movies Laughing 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I would say I've seen abot 40 different ones. On the school run alone there are 5 - mostly driven by footballers wives. I see most in London where a RRS is vital! Confused 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Must be too many rich business men and poor farmers up here then, usually all I see are smart RR's or clapped out Defenders and old S1 Disocs pulling along beasty carriers to the local market! D3's and Sports are still a pretty rare sight in these parts. Freelanders seem to be breading like rabbits. By a long long way they are more popular in this area than all the other small SUVs put together, especially with farmers wives. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
