What to look out for - 2022 P400e HSE

Hi all, previous member from when I had a 2012 SDV6.
I'm now looking for a newer model, possibly a 2022 P400e HSE. Are there any issues I should be weary off? I guess the crankshaft shouldn't be an issue?
Is the 2 litre petrol a reliable engine? Should I consider it over a diesel?
What's the life of the hybrid battery likely to be like. Any way to test it?
Any pointers would be welcomed.
Thanks in advance. Merc C220 estate Sport AMG

Main issue to look for is a failed HV heater.
Drive it in EV mode and a high temp on the A/C.
If the HV heater is working then it will run in pure EV mode.
If not then the engine will fire up to provide the heat.

That's the only issue I have had and is a fairly common one apparently not just on the Sport. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

I think it comes down to 'why'. If you live in a city and plan on doing mostly city driving then it makes sense. The small KW battery I think gives about 20 miles range. Battery will deteriorate so would guess 3-5 year old version will have about 80% charge.

If you do mostly mixed driving then the diesels make more sense. There will be those who have experienced the failure on the 3.0 but if you keep oil changes to 10K then it should be fine.

My P400e is still giving 27 to 30 miles electric range after 3 years.
Modern battery technology has improved them dramatically, if we are talking first generation Nissan Leaf's then that is a different story. Thumbs Up 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

Yeah, consider how you will use the car. If the vast majority of your journeys between charging at home are under 30 miles, then go for it. If not, then look at a diesel. When running on petrol, the car will struggle to get 28mpg. My last 3.0 diesel could easily get close to 40mpg.

HV heater is the only main issue and is £1000. Battery warranty is 6 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.

I do most of my journeys on electric and reset the trip meter when I do fill up with fuel. It is normally 800 miles before I need to fill up with fuel again. Current - 2020 Range Rover Sport P400e
Gone - 2014 Range Rover Sport HSE SDV6
Gone - 2017 Audi A8 Sport
Gone - 2007 Range Rover Sport HSE TDV8 - Great car.

Thanks for the advice so far, keep it coming please.
I've looked at a couple of HSEs so far but finding it difficult to know what features and options are included.
I'm particularly keen on Adaptive cruise control, smart speed limiter and 360 cameras. These only seem available in optional "packs" and most indy sellers have no idea whats included or not.
Even Autobiography models are sketchy on what you get.
I remember that Topix has that sort of detail. How do I access that?
All help greatly appreciated! Merc C220 estate Sport AMG

Thanks, I found that already.
I'm looking at an autobiography 2moro, but even things like Adaptive cruise control is an optional extra and the selling dealer (a BMW dealer) has no idea whether the car has it or not. Same with 360 camera but at least I should be able to find the camera hardware easily enough. Merc C220 estate Sport AMG
