I will be hopefully taking delivery of my new autobiography late April and was intrested in finding out what insurance companies other new owners have found the most competitive on price.Also was looking into gap policies and again has anyone taken this out?Like most manufacturers Landrover have asked dealers to refrain from offering gap policies until the fca have made their recommendations

Im sat on the outskirts of Cardiff. 55 with full no claims

My best quote that I went with was Tesco at £458 fully comp on a 2013 L320 SDV6. renewal is currently tracking at £100 less.

I also looked at a quote for a 2015 SVR which came in a £639... Must be in a good post code here..

I’m struggling with not being able to find the model I’m purchasing on any of the insurance databases
It’s a brand new model L461 Autobiography with a new engine option 4.4 V8 petrol MHEV
The closest I can get is 2022 4.4 V8 petrol but that was not a MHEV.I have spoken with Admiral insurance who I know are popular with customers purchasing new Range Rovers and they say they can’t quote until model is on database
