Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) - diagnosis & repair?

Hi all,

Im having an issue with my SAS that's also affecting other systems / warnings.

Ive tried the turn wheel to left lock / hold / right lock / hold / centre process. No joy.

Ive got an IID tool, and have reconfigured the SAS, but the issue remains.

Ive now removed the SAS (much easier than I thought it would be!) but am struggling top find any info about how to check it for functionality / diagnose any faults.

RAVE just tells me the pinouts. I need to know what electronically generates what signals, and how - to then look to diagnose and fix my SAS.

Ive no issue looking at individual components on a circuit board - I just need to know what should be doing what.

My searching it turning up empty. Sad

ANY advice or guidance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks - Duncan
