Do 6 pot Brembos fit facelift L494 MY18+

Has anyone converted the small brake L494 to the 6 pot brembo calipers and bigger discs? Wondered if it’s possible or are the struts different and caliper mountings?

Straight forward swap. I did it a few months ago. Had to trim the dust guard at the bottom slightly. You need to go to the 380mm discs and pads and obviously do a full fluid / flush bleed.

Thanks for confirming, I’m assuming the brake pipe banjo connection is the same on the calipers?
When you did the brake fluid flush and refill did you need a Gap tool or is it a standard system that can be pressure bled?

Yep brake lines are the same. The calipers are sided and designed to hold a nipple / extension lug on the line and fits the smaller or larger calibers.

I do have GAP but used a pressure bleeder I prefer this method.

I bought Merle discs from Ebay for about £85 and pads Febi were about 35.

Callipers came from a 2018 and were in good condition £140 for the pair delivered. I painted them red using VH1 high temp paint and decals came from ebay with clear coat on top
