Is anyone else experiencing problems with the deployable side steps? The driver side step acted up a few weeks after delivery of the (new) car, it would "come out" ok when the door was unlocked or opened - but then immediately retract. The passenger side worked as it should.

The dealer accepted to look at it and seemed to fix the problem, they said it needed reconfiguring. But now, a few months later, the driver side step is acting up again in exactly the same way.

I'm reluctant to take it back too the dealer again as they seem intent on charging for everything up front, with the offer to refund some/all of it depending upon what they find. I wondered if anyone else knows what the problem might be please, so I can at least inform the dealer what they need to look at?
