L320 2008 TDV8 - Suspension not playing ball

Hi, so yesterday my suspension was fine. I was playing around with teh code reader and deflated the reservoir and bags.

Today my suspension is not working.
I don't get any code faults, buy the dash says suspension will raise when system cools.

The 4x4 display permanently says raising.
The front wheels don't raise, and the back wheels raise at different hights

Is this just a case of re-calibration? L320 Range Rover Sport 2008

When was the compressor last replaced? It sounds like it's struggling to cope with the demands of reinflating the system (a lot of work for it). Might need a new compressor. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi, not sure if it has ever been replaced.
Stuck my head underneath but cant hear any sound, so could well be tired.
Keeps saying raising slowly, and, will raise when cooled.

Would you recommend a new compressor or should I try a refurb using a kit? L320 Range Rover Sport 2008

Sorry for the double post.

So I managed to calibrate the ride hight.
The red (suspension) warning light has now gone.

The suspension raises from access to normal, ok.
Seems to struggle with raised hight.

Is it worth getting a refurb kit for the pump or a brand new pump.
Autodoc have authentic Hitachi pump for £400, or a refurb kit is £100.

I also have a lot of ATCM, RLM and BCM U-code communication errors but the car drives. L320 Range Rover Sport 2008

Poor show replying to your own post.

Replaced the compressor with a £350 Hitachi compressor off Autodoc
New compressor bracket, new screws and bolts, new relay.

Was a pain in the arse to get on and off.

Thanks.

It was an easier fix than I thought.
Hardest part is getting the top cover on and off. L320 Range Rover Sport 2008

Unfortunately that is typical of some people, quick enough to ask for help from others and get some advice, solutions etc. but to damn ignorant to have the courtesy to respond and say something like, thanks for the help guys unfortunately those ideas didn't work or yes such and such fixed it which might just help someone else, but you can bet your bottom dollar next time they have a issue they will be back for help.

Cheers
Col

Well done sorting it out and thanks for the update on the issue. Always good to hear solutions. Thumbs Up

As Col says, far too often people come on here ask for help and we never hear from them again - no "it's fixed" nor even a "thanks". Some people don't even bother responding to the "first ever post asking for help" type queries for that reason. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
