I’m returning to the RRS fold after 7 years with a Velar D300 and before that 2 years with a TD4 Evoque.
Previously I had a L320 5.0SC Auto, which was a beautiful car but as I do high mileage the consumption was ruining my enjoyment of the vehicle.

I’m just in process of purchasing a 2019 SDV8. It looks in very good condition but it missed its 16K service on the online system.This would have been during Covid so I wonder if an Indy has done it and not updated. Everything else looks sound and it’s now done 54000 miles and had full LRSH since.

What are opinions on how serious a potentially missed 16k service would have been? I’m moving off the Velar as I’ve done 86k miles in it and starting to get crankshaft anxiety. I hear the SDV8’s are a more robust engine but with a few issues round oil cooler gaskets and occasional turbo’s borking. I’m wondering if a missed service early in its life might be a concern.
