DAB radio - no sound

RRS 2010 3.0L
I have owned the car for 13 years. Since purchase, every now and then, the DAB would give a click, sound would disappear for a few seconds and then come back and work as normal. This would happen every couple of weeks.

A while ago, i got back in the car to drive, expecting the radio to play as normal but nothing. No reception stated onscreen which stayed for several days. I now have got reception on all dab channels but no sound.
FM, AM, portable and phone will play no problem but still nothing from DAB. It has been like this for a couple of months now where i was hoping that it would come back on it's own but nothing.
Any ideas anyone?
thanks

Hello,

Not sure if it will help you?

I’m in the process of upgrading my L320 2010 to DAB+.

I have a recently refurbished and software updated module I purchased from a reputable eBay seller for £150 back last summer. It currently works a treat and will sell for £100 if you were interested.

I’m putting it on the for sale section anyway.

Not sure if it will help or interest you?

Dean

many thanks for your reply.

I was told last week it maybe a loose connection as the cable for the DAB is different to the FM antenna. I have not had chance to look at it yet.

can you post the link for the new unit you purchased please/ If i was going to change the unit then i would also go for DAB+
thanks
