Apology accepted Axl - we're all here to help and learn. It must be so frustrating trying to get the car sorted. I'm sure if you were nearer there would be plenty of people willing to give a hand. They really are great cars and even more annoying for you must be trying to get it sorted whilst the weather is cold.

So just a Scotsman then? No need to apologise - we all have to deal with and it's easy to forget others are also doing so. Chin up. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Didn't see the other stuff unfold - and good on ya for apologising, takes something to do that. But I saw this bit and think that's a big part of it to be honest. I know from personal experience just how incredibly stressful that particular journey is. And I've a wife who's a specialist MH Nurse in that field. Don't be afraid to drop me a DM if there's any advice on particular elements of that fecking awful condition that you're pulling your hair out with. I may - or may not - be able to help from my own experiences. Remember to check out the advice of Alzheimers Society & Age UK. Depending on your local services & the diagnosis, there may be some local support & carers groups - worth checking out even if you're a miserable like me. If your Mum had a Community Nurse, they often have good ideas on tackling behaviours. Don't forget to look after yourself and immediate family in amidst it all. Take care. |
