Random Pings with Driver Assistance Set to Low – Help Need

Since I took delivery of my car just over a year ago, I’ve always set driver assistance to low mode as soon as I start driving to avoid the constant pings. However, over the past few months, I’ve noticed random pings even with the setting in low mode. This never used to happen, and despite trying to spot any patterns or specific locations that could be triggering it, I’m completely stumped. Sometimes, I even get multiple pings with no apparent reason, typically when driving at low speeds around town. Does anyone know what might be causing this? It’s driving me crazy!

Your location is Tamworth!

It’s probably the warning chime for all the b Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed dy speed cameras hidden in hedges.

Laughing Laughing Yes I do get a lot of them as well but this is a different chime and occurs when I'm nowhere near cameras.

The answer lies in the driver assistance settings. Just setting the assistance to low on the steering wheel eliminates the over speeding bongs but leave the bongs that notify you of a speed limit change. You need to go into Cruise and limiter settings to stop those. Look at the thread MY24 bongs below for a more detailed answer when I asked the same thing ! MY24 Dynamic SE,MY21 HSE Silver, MY20 SQ7, MY 18 RRS HSE Dynamic , MY 16 RRS Autobiography now gone & MY 2005 Discovery 3 HSE that I will be buried in !
