it hardly moves from the shut to open position - did a few vids, but none of them looked any different |

Thanks so much Kaine, that's what I thought it would be like. Who needs a one-touch open/close tailgate, anyway? You would only be a step away from a soccer mom minivan. I don't mind the exercise and, to quote our Governor of the State of Kalafornia, that's for "girlie men". But I really like the fact you no longer have to slam that sucker shut. Sometimes I fear the window is going to break when I close mine. I do hope the power assist can be retrofitted on 06s. |

Is this 'soft close mechanism' standard on all MY07 RRS? Funny old thing, my LR dealer can't tell me the spec (including new wood trim colour) of the approx £45000 I want to order - does any other premium car dealer behave this way!? |
