Cruise control - not working?

2006 Sport. The cruise control has just decided not to come on?!? Which is not welcome seeing as I will be driving on autoroutes down to Spain next month. Any thoughts as to what I could look at to see if I could revive it. Andrew Kennedy

could be the steering wheel clock spring.

check your horn works.

load up the gap iid, goto live values
engine ecu, look at the cruise switch status. Press all the cruise buttons and see if they are all registering.

Check brake lights are working ok
