United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Lux Santorini Black
RRS L320 my12 (61plate)

well it never seems to let me down
flew through the MOT last week no issues except 1 number plate bulb gone
520 mile round trip to Newcastle and back averaging 39mpg
cruising at 70ish. not a glitch it just purrs along
have give up on major servicing, just have oil swapped twice a year
and fix any issue as they come along
6 years of ownership , ( Longest car i have kept ) and still love it ..

I’m in the same boat, MY12 with 105k. It’s been up and down the UK, across the EU with no issues. I was on a run last year, the Cayenne in the group had be recovered and was just in the shop for 3 months waiting for a part! Great motor and I’ve almost sold it twice and I go back to why? 2018 Telsa MS

Yup.
In the same boat. Had it for six year. Went all the way to Morocco this year, didn't miss a beat.
What else can tow 3 tons across a wet field and still drive in comfort with a 3 metre gazebo (folded up) in the boot.

Great to see positive responses,
i guess forums are usually there for people with problems,
so all you hear is negativity.

39mpg? Was it being towed? Laughing

That's a phenomenally frugal RRS. Bow down 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

It's a bit hilly where I live and the roads (and drivers) are very slow - I'm lucky to get 23. Big Cry

i guess i got Lucky with mine regarding fuel
although i rarely put my foot down now , just happy to chug along ( avoiding any more point on my licence ) rarely do i excede 2500rpm
i did achieve average 43mpg once going down to bristol, i think it does make a difference which fuel you use as well , i usually put premium in if going on a longer journey give the engine a clean too

saying this , if i am just shifting around town it does go down to 25mpg
but i do use it mainly for long trips usually

Is this measured mpg or what the car tells you on the dash? And 43mpg? Really? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
