Hi guys

I'm trying to install the map updater to my PC to try and download the latest map for my 2019 MY SVR but can't get past a run error message on the map updater programme itself. Not sure if my work PC has virus software thats causing this, LR don't know and say the dealer cant help me. I just paid £1300 to have the telematics module replaced as it wasnt working and I wanted to get latest map and live traffic etc. and whilst not as good as Carplay options I wanted to do it, so I'm pretty cheesed off that I cant download the map updater programme either.

Anyone else have this issue and found a way to download the map updater programme, get it to run and download a the latest maps, the car tells me there's one available, I think the one installed is 2021.

I presume you have a current licence for the maps, does it show as valis on the web site?

Hi I haven’t purchased a new map and serviced yet, didn’t want to do that then never successfully download a map. Is that a must have before running the updater programme?

Will have to check what version of Windows & AV etc

You seem to be failing on a missing licence file, so I would say you need to buy a licence before you can download.

It would kind of make sense, I know the downloader when working always checks for a valid licence. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

I purchased the map and services from LR and the services side is active in the SVR now, but the link received for the map update and downloader programme still throws errors, so I can only assume its my work laptop.

Its Windows 10 Enterprise machine, and looks to have Windows Security, but has many networking programmes etc. I've tried to run the downloader files at home to detach from work servers/firewall but the same errors occur.

I presume you have a valid subscription showing now as in my screenshot?

If so, I would try uninstalling any copy of the installer and try again.

Yes I purchased a 3 year, see below screenshot.

When I clock get the latest version it takes me to the next screen then says I must download and install the HERE map downloader before I download the map. I can download that downloader programme no problem but I cant run the file to install it, I just get the message I posted previously
