Heating system confusion - Please assist

Hi Team,
3.6l v8 RRS 2007 -
I have an issue that the heating is not working similar to many other symptoms seen around, as in very small amount of heat in econ mode only from one of the RH vents only. Other wise cold.
The fault preceded the top radiator pipe blowing, unsure if related?

Research suggests that is should be one of the two possible control solenoids, lh and rh of engine bay as applicable. I do not seem to have either?

I need to have a good look this evening, I did go down one rabbit hole where it looks like there is a control solenoid on the FBH itself?

Also while I am here is there a difference between the FBH and the Auxiliary heater? Any info appreciated.
