EGR Delete - A Slightly Different Question

So I have already deleted the EGRs and had them mapped out... However, I've the body off at the moment and am going to blank the rears.

Has anyone tackled this already? Are they the same blanks as the uppers?

Any help would be appreciated.

Tdv6 ?

No the blanks aren’t the same.

What with that and wanting to keep coolant circulating past the temp. Sensor I decided not to do anything special.

the usual advise is not to blank the tdv8. There must be a reason, So I wouldn't do anything permanent

Sorry but I dont agree with that statement as it is common enough to blank the TDV8 with the result of great improvements in many areas...

My Indy advised not blanking as well. They do other engines but not the TDV8.

I was humming and harring on getting it done, but in the end went with the keeping it standard camp.

The insurance angle was the final convincer, although I would like to spend time with a blanked one and see the difference.
