When I had my 6230 and the cradle, the name came up on the binnacle and on the audio screen when an incoming call matched a name in the address book. When it was simply BT (and therefore no address book sync) I only got the number coming up with no name.

I think that's all you're meant to get as no cradle = no address book sync.
