P460E & Octopus Intelligent Octopus Go

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone with a P440e/P460E PHEV registered with Intelligent Octopus Go is having any issues getting the car to be charged by the generated schedule when using a MyEnergi Zappi charger (Zappi Integrated)? Up until around just over a month ago, all was working fine, but now the Octopus app doesn't recognise that the car is plugged in which is odd seeming as it generates a charging schedule when you plug the car in, but then doesn't do anything. Currently managing to charge the car through the zappi charger schedule which is working flawlessly.

Thanks jimbg,

Yeah that happened back in March, but we were still able to integrate via the zappi itself after they blocked the api from integrating with the car itself and that works fine....or well it was...unless there's yet another security update back in September that's done something

Continuing the painful discussion with Octopus for a while longer to see if they can resolve.

I use the Octopus EV charging system with the MyEnergi Zappi charger on my MY24 P460E and it works faultlessly. It is important to make sure that the Zappi is set for ECO+ mode and that no other timed charging service is enabled. When I plug the car in, I immediately get a message on my tablet from the Octopus system showing when the charge will take place during the EV window. My car is at the latest software version.

Thanks for the response B McP - out of interest what version of firmware is your zappi on? My 460E is also on latest version, but coincidentally I upgraded the zappi firmware to 5.551 when this started to happen.

Interesting...yeah mine was working on 5.542...might be something has changed in 5.551...so if you get that option to upgrade the zappi firmware, I'd hold off for the time being.

.
Agreed - might be worth dropping a line to MyEnergi or Zappi ?
