Pre-Purchase Inspection

Hi folks,

I'm looking at a P400E. The Hybrid fits my driving profile perfectly, only do about 15 miles per day but need the ability to do a few long range trips per year. Overall i do about 7,000 miles per year.

Unfortunately, the one that has caught my eye is based in Edinburgh and i am based in Jersey.

The dealer (not sure if i'm allowed to name on here!) appears to be reputable, 149 reviews on Autotrader with 89% being 5 star and over 50% of their stock is Land Rover, but for some peace of mind i would like to get an independent pre-purchase inspection done.

Does anyone have any experience / recommendations of who to use? Or is the general consensus that they're not worth the paper they're written on?

I assume that's in relation to the HV heater issue?

Guessing nobody has any experience of using specific companies for Pre-Purchase Inspections?

Yes, also should show a range of 25 to 30 miles.

A lot of hybrid's and electric cars are bought as company cars and often never charged up.
Make sure you get a good warranty provided with it to cover any hidden issues. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

Nope, i probably wouldn't bother with inspection if it was at main dealer as would have approved used warranty for peace of mind.

Car i'm looking at is at Calder Motor Co.
