Is it possible to use wireless apple car play via a usb dongle thing on my 2015 RRS. My car has the LR apps thing as it’s a 2016MY. I don’t want to go down the road of stripping the dash out etc and spending hundreds of pounds, just something to plug into the USB under the armrest. Thanks for any replies.

As far as I know, not possible. The USB connectorin the car is only good for playing video's on the built-in screen and not for interactive (tochscreen) purposes.

The wireless dongles just convert wired Carplay, I have one and it works fine.

I use this for wireless car play. Just plug into USB in armrest. I also bought a wireless charge mat and tray from powerfuluk.com so no cables any more and plugs into other USB port in armrest

Ah,ok. My car doesn’t have the built Car play, it’s too old….Ah well I’ll have to do without then.
